NBI Management: Preparations for the peer review next week continue on all
jobs.
NBI Decon: D2 and guard vac removals are nearly complete. Decon
wipedowns of the calorimeter continued with variations to test techniques and
protective equipment. A complete HP survey will take place today to evaluate
progress.
NBI Relocation: While the NSTX NBI calorimeter was being removed for
maintenance, measurements were taken to contribute to the hieght rackup for
beamline travel over the south high bay shield wall.
NBI Power and Control: Additional details were considered and added
to the evaluation for locating the High Voltage Enclosures in the NTC.
NBI Duct, VV Port, and Armor: Concerns about locating and mounting
the Bay J-K Resistive Wall Mode coil around the proposed vacuum vessel weldment
required some changes and these ideas are being factored into the models.
Development of the TVPS system is also underway.
NBI BL Services: Concepts are complete. Layouts are complete. Presentation
materials for next week are in progress.
NTC Equipment Relocations: Lists of changes have been prepared for
presentation next week. A rigorous review with Diagnostics is planned.
