Subject:                          NBI Upgrade Weekly Status 7/16/10

Al,

NBI Upgrade: Job managers worked on WAFs and the project schedule to incorporate changes from the schedule review last week and to optimize the cost profile. Study continues on the Bay L-Bay K gap region concerning loads, analysis, and structure.

NBI Decon:  Decon continued on lower cryo piping at the bottom of the cryo panels where wrapping of cryogenics insulation will occur. Wipedowns on the BL external source platform  continued in preparation for the platform removal. Test Cell area maintenance has been performed on a routine basis.

Regards,

Tim
