Subject:	NBI Upgrade Weekly Status 4/29/11

NBI Upgrade:  Design details have been added to the TVPS system models. Work on drawings 
for TVPS, services, and controls continues. The prototype set up continues and is ready for 
welding. Three minor chits were generated at the Peer Review and have been dispositioned, 
assigned, and logged. Management participated in the CS weekly meeting and ongoing EVMS 
certification preparations. Existing NBI drawings are being evaluated for the duct, cryogenics 
system, and services also.

NBI Refurbishment:  Core drilling of the old full energy ion dump has been completed. 
Machining on the replacement full energy ion dump continues in the shop.

Addendum:

Kelsey Tresemer has taken over the Armor job as COG.

The old full energy ion dump has been removed from the lid and placed on the floor for eventual packaging and disposal
