Subject:                          NBI Upgrade Weekly Status 7/9/10

Al,

NBI Upgrade: A project meeting was held this week to discuss the resource loaded schedule for each of the NBIU jobs. The interplay and timing of jobs with each other was also evaluated especially leading up to and during the upgrade outage. The overall funding profile was discussed as jobs, links, access, and float were evaluated. Significant progress was made and some adjustments will be made to WAFs to break out details. Additional linkage details were clarified for incorporation into the resource loaded schedule.

NBI Decon:  Decon continued on lower cryo piping at the bottom of the cryo panels to take off residual contamination that collected there from the use of the sprayers on the chevrons. Wipedowns on the BL external source platform  started in preparation for the platform removal. Test Cell area maintenance has been performed on a routine basis. HP and ERWM coverage continues to be outstanding in support of this effort.

Regards,

Tim
