Notes from 1/12 Meeting:

Reviewed the Analysis spreadsheet (See Attached)
Updated spreadsheet attached with overall progress curve.  In order to keep the calculation 
progress on track for the FDR, project will need to complete 3-4 calculations per week.

 
Fracture mechanics analysis OH coil bundle and PF 4 & 5 Bundle  (Titus) (see VGs)
Fracture mechanics analysis for the OH coil bundle and the PF 4 & 5 coil bundles indicate the stresses 
are acceptable to obtain the full NSTX upgrade cycles requirement. 

Latest IBD tiles analysis  (Brooks) (see VGs)
Latest analysis on IBD tiles indicates some stress concentrations at the corniers of the T-bars.  A 
subsequent run using a more compliant design using spherical washers reduced the stresses to 
acceptable levels.  These runs were static and therefore conservative.


PAST ACTION ITEMS: 

-Titus to provide (item 39) coupled DCPS moment influence coefficients to 
Hatcher (12/15)
